Our 4 Pillars of Health

“Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos- the trees, the clouds, everything.” - Thich Nhat Hanh

The power of 4 for me:

Mind. Body. Spirit. Environment.

Achieving balance in all areas of life is key to success! Each pillar is a part of our goals to live a balanced, energized, and healthy lifestyle.

The 4 pillars focus on you as a whole through connecting the dots between your needs and desires in life. We would like to elucidate each of the pillars of health, so we can help you understand and pinpoint the areas of your life you want to focus on to improve.

4 Pillars

With that said, here are our 4 pillars of health.

1. Mind

Mindset. Mental, Emotional, and Verbal.

Mind

Taking time to reflect and meditate helps me stay focused and mindful. Practicing mindfulness allows me to be aware of my thoughts and feelings, and to be present in the moment. This helps me to stay in control of my emotions and to make conscious decisions.

2. Body

Physical. Fitness, Nutrition, and Delivery of Care.

Taking care of my body through yoga and exercise helps me stay energized and healthy. Regular exercise helps to reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost energy levels. It also helps to strengthen the immune system, improve mental health, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

Body

A good nutrition can allow you to eat the types of food referred to as "junk food" when you sustain your body with the nutrients it needs. Moderation and self-discipline are key when it comes to the type of food and amount of food you expect your body to process.

Your body is a perfect machine, if you would. It works constantly to take in the good and to remove the unwanted waste.

3. Spirit

Purpose in life. Ethic and Moral Behaviors. Relationships and Contributions.

Spirit

Connecting with nature helps me stay grounded and spiritually connected. Nature has a calming effect on the mind and body, and can help to reduce stress and anxiety. Spending time in nature can also help to restore balance and perspective, and to reconnect with our inner selves.

The experiences and discoveries you encompass can assist you in creating healthy relationships versus unhealthy relationships. Healthy relationships can reduce anxiety and prolong your life.

4. Environment

Community, Occupation, Financial, and Safety.

Giving back to my community helps me stay connected and engaged with the world around me. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, and to make a positive impact on the lives of others. It can also help to build self-confidence, foster meaningful relationships, and provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Environment

Discovering your passion can lead you to a fulfilling occupation and help those follow you in your footsteps. Finding out what you love creates a healthy workplace environment where you look forward to showing up and your productivity and mentality improves.

Financial healthy focuses on putting your mind at ease for no matter the circumstances that may come at you. Having funds for regular spending, expenses, and emergency are all areas you want to prepare for in your life. Additional areas you may want to look into are retirement and life insurance policies to prepare you for unexpected life situations. Being financial prepared gives your mind, body, and spirit a break. Financial health gives you the opportunity to take care of your health on the front end instead of waiting until you become ill and creates safety for you and your family.

Mind. Body. Spirit. Environment.
